2018 sees Harris Jones celebrate its 25th anniversary. We’ve seen tremendous changes during this time with the job market, the growth of the internet and a fluctuating economy. During the good times and the challenging times, we have always pulled together as team, and embraced the changes we have needed to make to keep ahead.
Relationship building is what we enjoy most. When we reflect on our 25 years in business, the greatest satisfaction is the trusted relationships we have built with our clients and candidates. Having such longevity means that we can provide the continuity of communication, knowledge and experience that is essential when you are looking to recruit – or to be recruited.
Amanda founded Harris Jones Recruitment in 1993. Her strong belief that a recruitment agency should lead by example and be as good as its people, has led to a thriving consultancy where the majority of her team have been with the company for between 8 – 20 years. This means a superb consistency of service for clients and candidates alike.
If only… If she didn’t have to come to work tomorrow, Amanda would love to spend a day in New York indulging her passion for shopping and fine dining, topped off with an evening sipping Cosmopolitans in a stylish Manhattan night spot.
In another life... Amanda would be taking centre stage on a sell-out world tour.
Amanda’s very first recruit, Jacqui, has worked for Harris Jones for over 20 years. Relationship building is Jacqui’s passion having nurtured long term relationships with many of South West London’s leading employers. Her loyal following of candidates sees them seek her out time and again as they progress through their careers.
If only… If she didn’t have to come to work tomorrow, Jacqui would enjoy a relaxing day of facials, manicures and massages.
In another life… Jacqui would escape to France and manage her very own vineyard.
Caroline joined Harris Jones in the early 2000’s and as Office Manager still keeps everything running seamlessly. Naturally adept at managing people, she ensures clients and candidates always get the continuity of an exceptional service – and the HJ team enjoy a wonderful place to work.
If only… If she didn’t have to come to work tomorrow, Caroline would indulge her passion for fashion and spend the day in London.
In another life… Caroline would further her interest in interior design and we would see her celebrity homes in top magazines!
Angela has over 25 years experience within recruitment, 14 of which have been spent at Harris Jones. She is 100% committed to her candidates, working exceptionally hard to ensure each is able to make a positive contribution in each of the organisations in which they are placed. Always putting the best person forward for any given job, Angela prides herself on ‘doing her homework’ before she places any candidate.
If only… If she didn’t have to come to work tomorrow, Angela would take a break from her normally frenetic schedule and enjoy a day of utter relaxation at a spa.
In another life… Angela would put a little something back by working for a mental healthcare charity.
James is a new addition to the Harris Jones team (2014) with nine years recruitment experience. An accomplished account manager with superb customer service skills, diligent and happy to help, James prides himself on matching the right candidate to the right job.
If only… If he didn’t have to come to work tomorrow, you would find James adrift in the mediterranean with a top notch Italian restaurant delivery service on speed dial.
In another life… He’d make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.
A real ‘people person’ Helen joined the team at Kingston in September 2005. Having previously worked in Recruitment for two and a half years before coming to us, Helen has already established strong relationships with both Clients and Customers and has a real commitment to customer service.
If only… If she didn’t have to come to work tomorrow, you would find Helen in her swimwear and lifejacket, trying every form of water sport available in the Caribbean.
In another life… Helen would be married to a gorgeous International footballer and float around looking glamorous, dodging the paparazzi… watch out Posh!
